Urban Necessities is one of the top sneaker consignment stores based from Las Vegas. Established in 2016, the UN now carries over 50,000 pairs of sneakers with a single pair worth up to $32,000. After the recent move to the Fashion Show Mall of Las Vegas, the UN is opening a second location in New York.
Urban Necessities had an outdated website that did not satisfy the customers experience. Navigation was not clear and products needed to be organized correctly. They also realized that the website store was not visually appealing compared to their competitors. The goal was to redesign and develop a new Shopify theme that will fit their needs.
A unique feature was their “used” and “new” option in their product pages. Customers were not clear whether the pair of sneakers they were looking at was worn or in a new condition. After trial and error we figured out how to include this feature so it can be effective and user friendly.
The branding was already established in-store but it did not reflect it on their online website. We singled out the colors that represented the store so that the branding remained consistent.
